Optical fiber cold joint is a technology for optical fiber interconnection by using the mechanical V-shaped groove technology, and has advantages and characteristics of simple operation, low requirements for tools, fast connection and others relatively to the splicing technology, in particular applicable to occasions where a lot of fiber terminals are needed for rapid connection.
